About white mountain gold prospectors
Our objective
We are a group of individuals who share the same hobby. We get together for a meeting once a month to discuss future outings and upcoming events. We try to do at least one outing a month. We are always looking for new members to share in the experience with.
What we do for the community
We are a not for profit club. We love to go to gem and mineral shows to teach people how to use a gold pan and other prospecting equipment. We support local teens and the veterans. We feel this is a hobby that can help people to connect with others that share a common interest.
What we offer
We have four different gold claims. Three in the Rye area and one in Globe. As a member you will be able to use the claims. We offer hands on experience using all types of prospecting equipment. But most of all we offer a new set of friends to get dirty and have fun with.
